ABSTRACT In this paper a lens is specified for transitioning plane waves between media of specified permittivities. It is desired to have the plane wave in the second medium propagate normal to the assumed plane boundary of that medium. The results for the case of normal incidence are then genedized to the case of non-normal incidence. In particular, the conditions oft-it time conservation and imped=ce matching are related to the Brewster q angle.
